Eduard 1:32 Bell AH-1G Cobra late steel seat belts STEEL is a photo-etched set of pre-colored steel seat belts for refining the cockpit of the attack helicopter, not the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set from the brand Eduard, not a kit of the helicopter. It holds seat belts made of the thin steel sheet of the STEEL range, which is color-printed at the factory, so it faithfully imitates the fabric straps, the buckles and the hardware without any need for further painting. The set is intended for models of the Bell AH-1G Cobra attack helicopter in the late form in 1:32 scale.
The Bell AH-1G Cobra was the first production attack helicopter in the world, used by the American army from the second half of the 1960s, above all in the war in Vietnam. A narrow fuselage, the tandem arrangement of pilot and gunner and a nose turret with armament defined a whole generation of attack machines. The late production version differed in small changes to the avionics and the cockpit equipment.
Steel photo-etched belts are stiffer than brass ones, so bend them over a sharp edge and shape them with tweezers so that they drape naturally over the seat. For gluing, use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or a glue for photo-etched parts. The color print is fine, so protect it from being sanded through.
This is a detail accessory set. The model of the helicopter itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
