1:32 Bell AH-1G Cobra. Masks is a set of masking templates for the canopy glazing of the attack helicopter, not a kit. It makes it possible to spray the glazing frames of a model in 1:32 scale sharply. Intended for the ICM kit.

This is an accessory for building a model of the helicopter, not a kit. The set contains masking templates cut to the shape of the clear parts; they are stuck onto the clear part, sprayed over with the color of the frames and removed once dry. In the large 1:32 scale the canopy glazing is very large and its frames belong among the most closely watched details of a finished model, so replacing hand-cut tape with accurate templates pays off here. The maker of the set is Metallic Details. The target kit is ICM.
The Bell AH-1G is the first production version of the AH-1 series of attack helicopters, which came about by using the powerplant and the rotor head of the UH-1 type in a new, markedly narrowed fuselage. The crew sits in tandem, the gunner in front and the pilot behind him on a raised seat. The slender fuselage reduces the frontal area, stub wings carry the armament and there is a traversing turret in the nose. The canopy glazing is divided into several large flat panes, which is an advantage for a modeler when masking but at the same time a demand for accuracy - an unsymmetrical frame shows immediately in a large scale.
First wash and degrease the clear parts. Lift the individual templates out of the sheet with the tip of a sharp knife and transfer them with tweezers straight onto the area that is to stay clear. Press the edges down firmly all the way round; on large flat panes the work goes quickly and it is mainly the corners that call for attention. Cut any uncovered sections from the waste material or fill them in with narrow masking tape. Spray the frames first with the shade of the cockpit interior and then with the external finish, always in thin coats. Remove the masks shortly after the paint has dried, slowly and at a sharp angle.
The set contains masking parts only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
