Hrany po nalepení pečlivě přitlačte špachtličkou nebo párátkem, stříkejte slabé vrstvy a první z nich veďte kolmo k hraně. Pomáhá také nejprve přestříkat hranu barvou rámu, která případnou mikrospáru sama utěsní.
Po zaschnutí poslední vrstvy barvy nebo laku, ideálně do několika dnů. Táhněte pomalu, šikmo zpět od nastříkané linky. Při delším ponechání může lepidlo na čirém dílu ulpět a hrany barvy se mohou vylamovat.
