Cut painting stencils for the frames of the canopy of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4 in 1:32 scale. The TFace form treats the glazing outside and inside.
Responsibility details are not available.
The stencils are cut to the shape of the glazing of a single type of aircraft, namely the Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4 in the large scale of 1:32. The designation TFace says that the sheet covers the outer and the inner side of the cockpit, so the framing comes out credibly both from outside and when looking into an open cockpit.
The F-4 version fitted the Daimler-Benz DB 601E engine and, on the axis of the reduction gear, an MG 151 cannon of twenty millimeters caliber, completed by a pair of machine guns above the cover of the power unit. Against the older Emil it has rounded wingtips, a smoother nose and a tailplane freed of external struts. In the years 1941 and 1942 it was the most feared German fighter machine over the Channel, over Malta and in the North African desert.
Before masking, wash the clear parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and let them dry freely. Carry the individual fields with pointed tweezers, start with the smallest and lead the pressure from the center to the edge. Treat the inner side before you set the cockpit into the fuselage. Build the color in thin coats, because one generous dose seeps under the edge more easily than three fine ones. Take the stencils off while the coat is still fresh.
