A photo-etched set of seat belts from Eduard for a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G fighter in 1:32 scale. It replaces the flat plastic belts with a faithful metal version with the relief of the buckles. It is not an airplane model but a cockpit accessory.
The metal belts can be bent realistically over the seat and adapted to its position, so that they look like real pilot's gear. In 1:32 scale the pilot's seat is a striking feature of an open cockpit, so faithful belts noticeably raise the level of the whole interior.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade and form them with tweezers. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). If the belts are not pre-printed, paint them with acrylics in the shades of period gear and pick out the buckles in a metal color; a fine weathering at the end is recommended.
This is a detail accessory. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
