Clerget 9B Engine is a printed rotary engine for the large 1:32 scale; wire for the fine valve gear is in the package as well.
Responsibility details are not available.
The nine-cylinder of the brand Clerget is made by the Polish maker by 3D printing, and together with it you get steel wire for the fine valve gear. The part is aimed at the fuselages of large biplanes, where the engine tends to be exposed and a simplified insert from a kit looks out of place there.
The design from the Clerget-Blin workshop became one of the mainstays of Allied aviation. The nine-cylinder of the 9B type powered among others the Sopwith Camel and the Sopwith Pup and became famous for its reliability as well as for a reputation as an engine that forgives less than its slower predecessors. Operating rotary engines had rules of its own: power was not throttled with a throttle but by cutting the ignition, and the pilot had to watch the supply of fuel and oil constantly. The unusual way of controlling thrust gave rise to the characteristic interrupted sound that is easily recognized from period recordings.
Wash the sanded surfaces and dry them, and only then apply the primer. The cylinders look best in a dark shade with polished edges; add the copper and brass fittings at the end with a fine brush. A weak oil glaze will imitate the lubricant that always ran out of rotary engines.
Only this engine is sold, with no fuselage, no paints and no glue.
