A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks for spraying the national markings and lettering of the American Curtiss P-40N Warhawk fighter in the large 1:32 scale. You lay the mask on the model, spray the paint with an airbrush and once it is lifted off you have sharply defined markings directly in the finish. The set serves as a replacement for decals for these markings and is laid out for P-40N models in that scale.
The Curtiss P-40N was one of the last and most widely produced versions of the famous Warhawk. A lightened structure and a more powerful engine improved the rate of climb. The type served with a number of Allied air forces on many fronts of the Second World War.
Apply the masks to dry, smooth paintwork. Spray multicolored insignia in layers from the lighter color to the darker one and press the edges down thoroughly so that paint does not creep under them. Painted markings have a sharper edge than a decal, do not silver and take weathering better. The masks are cut to fit the Trumpeter kit.
This is a standalone set of masks. The model, paints and an airbrush are not included in the package.
