This is an aftermarket accessory, not a model in its own right. The set contains resin wheels with tires cast with a slight flattening at the bottom, as though the weight of the aircraft were resting on them. This weighted tire effect gives a standing model realism. The set is intended for models of the Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk attack aircraft in 1:32 scale.
The Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk was an American attack aircraft using low-observable (stealth) technology. Its characteristic faceted silhouette rides on conventional landing gear. Wheels with a realistic bulge add to the sense of weight and of the machine settling on the ramp.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires a flat rubber black and the rims the matching shade; set the flattened part so that it rests on the ground over its whole face. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
