A resin detail of the barrel, that is the muzzle, of the on-board cannon for a kit of the F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (a production line of the Aires company). It is not a model of the airplane but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic part from the kit with a sharper and more faithful casting. A precisely rendered cannon muzzle is a visually prominent part of the left side of the nose of the aircraft.
The General Dynamics (later Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine multirole fighter, one of the most widespread combat aircraft in the world. It is armed with a built-in M61 Vulcan 20 mm rotary cannon, whose muzzle stands out on the left side of the fuselage behind the cockpit. It is precisely this part that the set captures faithfully.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue and separate them carefully from the casting block; do the sanding with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fit the part in place of the original plastic one and apply a primer undercoat before painting. Pick the metal muzzle out with a dark metallic shade and a fine wash.
This is a resin accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
