A photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:32 scale holding small data plates, tables and information placards for the American F/A-18 Hornet fighter. It is not an airplane model but a fine accessory that raises the realism of the cockpit and the airframe.
Placards are the miniature manufacturing and service plates, warning tables and lettering found on a real aircraft in the cockpit as well as on the outside. In the large 1:32 scale they bring the surface of a model markedly to life, where it would otherwise read as empty.
They usually come as pre-colored self-adhesive etching. Separate the parts carefully, place them in the intended spot and press them down gently. Work with tweezers and follow period documentation when placing them.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
