1:32 Phantom II - a resin air inlet on the vertical tail is a small accessory from the Quickboost brand for kits of the F-4E, F-4F, F-4G and RF-4E versions. It is not a model of an aircraft.

A simple replacement for one particular detail: the intake opening at the root of the vertical tail through which cooling air flows into the rear fuselage. In kits this place tends to be cast as a blanked, shape-simplified lump, because a split plastic mold cannot manage a thin wall with an opening. A resin casting has a thin wall and an open inlet, so on a model in a large scale it looks convincing and you do not have to drill it or build it up from sheet. It is a job for a moment with a visible effect - which is why it is one of the quickest ways to move a model on. The release and the number of parts are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a twin-engine, two-seat supersonic combat aircraft. The F-4E version received an internal cannon and a revised nose, the F-4F was the version for the Luftwaffe, the F-4G specialized in suppressing air defenses and the RF-4E was the reconnaissance variant with a revised nose and no radar. The versions listed share the rear fuselage and the tail surfaces, which is why one accessory can be used for all of them.
Wash the part in lukewarm water with dish soap and rid it of mold release agent. Cut the casting block off with a saw and level the surface wet, with respiratory protection; the thin wall of the inlet is fragile, so support it while sanding. On the kit, sand the original lump down flat and mark the place lightly with a pencil, so that you know where the part goes. It is attached with cyanoacrylate glue, ideally a gel one, which gives time to align it. Spray the inside of the inlet before you seat the part, and fill and sand the gap all the way round, so that the transition does not show. Once it is clear coated, bring the inlet out with a thin wash and add fine dirt running back with the airflow.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
