Print Scale 1:32 F-86 Sabre decals, part 1 are a sheet of classic wet decals for large models of the American swept-wing fighter. It is not a kit but an accessory for marking a finished model.

A decal sheet in 1:32 scale devoted to the North American F-86 Sabre fighter. The designation part 1 indicates that this is the first part of a themed line, while wet decals means classic water-slide decals that are applied to a finished painted model. The large 1:32 scale shows to advantage above all on the striking nose and tail designs for which Sabres were famous.
The North American F-86 Sabre was the first American production fighter with a swept wing and one of the most widespread jet machines of the first postwar generation. It entered service in the late 1940s and became famous above all in the Korean War, where it met MiG-15 machines. It was produced in many versions, from day fighters through fighter-bombers to radar-equipped interceptors, and a number of countries around the world operated it either under license or from deliveries. The color schemes therefore range from bare metal with identification stripes to the all-over camouflage of later users.
Finish the model in paint first and overspray it with a gloss clear coat, on which a decal holds without silvering. Cut the design out close to the printing, soak it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest. On the large areas typical of 1:32 scale, work in sections and press the excess water out with a soft cloth from the center toward the edges. On a polished metal surface the gloss intermediate coat is especially important. Seal the finished markings with a varnish in the degree of sheen you want.
