1:32 F4U-1 wheels (Eduard Brassin) are a resin detail set of replacement wheels for models of the American Vought F4U-1 Corsair carrier fighter.

A resin detail set from the Brassin range. It is not an aircraft model but a quality accessory, which replaces the wheels from a plastic kit with more convincing castings. Each wheel is made up of a tire and an outer and inner hub part, and the tire is done as weighted. A painting mask is usually included in the set.
The set is meant for models of the American Vought F4U-1 Corsair carrier fighter in 1:32 scale. The Corsair, with its characteristic bent gull wing, was among the most successful fighters of the Pacific, flown from land and from carrier decks alike. The resin wheels give the landing gear a realistic look with the right suggestion of loaded tires.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Resin is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The mask supplied makes painting the tire and the hub easier; finish with fine dusting in pigments.
This is a resin accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
