An Eduard accessory set from the LööK range, combining a highly detailed resin instrument panel with cast, three-dimensional dials and pre-colored steel photo-etched pilot seat belts. The panel is printed in color, so there is no need to paint the dials by hand, and it replaces the plastic instrument panel from the kit. The set is intended for models of the F4U-1A Corsair fighter in 1:32 scale.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier-based fighter of the Second World War with its characteristic inverted gull wing. Among other things, the F4U-1A version brought a raised pilot seat and a modified canopy for a better view. The Corsair was one of the most successful fighters of the US Navy and Marine Corps in the Pacific.
Once the resin panel is removed from the casting block, clean off any mold release agent. Bond the pre-colored parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate); it is a good idea to shape the belts slightly before fitting them for a natural look. Thanks to the color printing, there is no need to paint the dials and the panel.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft kit. It does not contain the plastic model or glue.
