Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8/R2 fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an upgrade accessory for a plastic model. Eduard is among the best in the photo-etch business and its sets move the fidelity of a model forward in the interior as well as in the fine exterior elements.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was one of the best German fighters of the Second World War. The A-8 version was the most widespread variant of the A series, and the R2 fit (Rüstsatz 2) added two 30 mm MK 108 cannon in the wings, intended to destroy heavy bombers. Machines armed this way served with the units defending the Reich against Allied raids.
Separate the fine parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them in a bender according to the instructions. Color-printed photo-etched elements, where the set contains them, are glued into the plastic with cyanoacrylate glue; paint the instrument panel and the belts, or use the pre-printed layers. The cockpit comes out well once the details are brought out with a wash.
This is a detail accessory for a plastic model, not a kit in its own right. The glue, the paints and the base model are not included in the package.
