Quickboost Fw 190D-9 propeller 1:32 is a resin replacement propeller with blades and a spinner, for refining a model of the German fighter in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from Aires, released under the Quickboost brand, brings a replacement propeller for a model of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but a refining accessory. The propeller is cast with a faithful blade profile and with a spinner, which saves the builder the need to work the plastic parts over laboriously.
The Fw 190D-9, nicknamed the Dora, was a German fighter of the end of the Second World War with an inverted V12 engine and a characteristically lengthened nose. Against the radial-engined versions of the Fw 190 it offered better performance at greater altitudes. The broad propeller is one of its prominent recognition features.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting block off carefully and sand the surfaces with breathing protection. Paint the propeller before fitting it and shade the blades; use cyanoacrylate for gluing. Take care that the axis of the propeller lines up exactly with the nose of the model.
This is an accessory to a plastic model, not a kit on its own. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
