In the early days of aerial bombing, small bombs and grenades were carried and hung by hand. The aerodrome personnel brought them to the aircraft in baskets and crates and made them ready for use. The figure captures this everyday work at a field airfield and the typical period working dress.
Wash the castings to remove the release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. A base coat, shading of the uniform and fine washes on the basket and the items carried pay off for emphasizing the detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
