This is NOT a model of the aircraft but a detail accessory. The set contains two turned metal barrels for the German Spandau LMG 08/15 aircraft machine gun of the First World War period in 1:32 scale. The metal parts with their faithfully rendered cooling jacket replace the plastic barrels and give the model fine detail.
The Spandau LMG 08/15 was a German aircraft machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber derived from the ground Maxim, which in the First World War made up the fixed synchronized armament of German fighters. Characteristic is the perforated cooling jacket around the barrel.
Glue the metal barrels with cyanoacrylate into drilled holes. Deburr and degrease the parts, after which they can be painted in metallic shades. The fine cooling jacket stands out after a pass with a dry brush or a wash.
This is a metal detail accessory, not an aircraft kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
