A cast intake offers a sharper shape and finer detail than the plastic part of a base kit and captures the profile of the intake of a particular version more faithfully. Once it is clear coated, it refines the look of the front of the fuselage.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, cut the casting block off and sand it down, and attach it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
