A kit of the Austro-Hungarian two-seat Hansa-Brandenburg C.I reconnaissance biplane in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Hansa-Brandenburg C.I was a two-seat reconnaissance and light bombing biplane that was among the most widespread machines of the Austro-Hungarian air service of the First World War. The pilot sat at the front and behind him the observer with a flexible machine gun, who at the same time worked the camera and the map. The machine was robust and took a great deal: it flew on the Italian as well as the Eastern Front, it was used to direct artillery fire and, with light bombs, for attacks on ground targets as well. It stayed in production for practically the whole war.
The type was built under license at several factories and in many production batches, which differed in engine, armament and in details of the fuselage and the radiator. The differences between the batches are clearly visible on a model too, so before building it is worth comparing the parts with the instructions and with references for the markings you want to build.
Cut off the excess material with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the surface; wash and degrease the parts before painting. Put the whole airframe together dry first. The roomy cockpit of both crew members is clearly visible once the model is finished, so paint it before you close the fuselage up. Seat the upper wing according to the drawing and stretch the bracing wires only onto a finished coat of paint.
The set will please modelers interested in the aviation of the Danube monarchy and who like to lay out the course of the build themselves. The paints, the glue and the tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
