Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks made of Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the Hawker Hunter in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit or a finished model but an accessory that makes masking easier and more precise when spraying paint.
The masks are stuck onto the canopy frames and onto the wheel rims, so that after spraying the glazing stays clear and the tires stay free of paint. Kabuki tape conforms well to rounded shapes, holds tightly and leaves no adhesive behind when peeled off. The canopy frames therefore come out crisp and straight without trimming tape by hand.
The Hawker Hunter is a British single-seat jet fighter of the 1950s powered by a Rolls-Royce Avon engine. It made its name with elegant lines and reliability and served with many air forces for long decades. The FGA.9 version was intended for ground attack, while the Mk.58 was the export variant for the Swiss Air Force.
The set contains only the cut-out masking parts. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
