This is the fourth form in the range of patterns for spraying Italian camouflage blotches. The aid accompanies the painting of a finished model and replaces neither a kit nor ready decals. This item can be worked with in several forms according to how dense a pattern the builder has in mind.
A large scale reveals every irregularity that a smaller model would hide. Blotches drawn freehand tend to vary in size and their edge is hard to repeat on both halves of an aircraft. A template holds the shape and the spacing, so that the left and the right side look as if from one hand. At the same time it saves the time that would otherwise go on patient outlining with a brush.
Try the spraying on a piece of cardboard first and fine-tune the distance of the nozzle. The closer you lay the aid, the sharper the edge that arises; by moving it away you gain a soft transition. On rounded surfaces adapt the template to the shape and hold it with your fingers, so that no gap is left between it and the surface. When you finish the work, clean it and store it flat.
The shades for spraying and the aircraft itself are not supplied with the aid.
