This accessory from the maker Quickboost is a resin replacement for the exhaust system in 1:32 scale. It is not a stand-alone airplane model but a detail part for the plastic kit of the Junkers Ju 87D-5 in the night version (N for Nacht). The letter N marks the pattern with flame dampers, which on night machines held down the dazzling of the crew and the glow that gave the exhausts away. This is the type B variant, which differs from the other types in the shape of the dampers. Check the exact contents of the package against the particular edition.
The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was a German dive bomber and ground-attack aircraft of the Second World War. The D version was a later development series with the more potent Junkers Jumo 211 inverted V12 engine and a reworked nose. The night pattern was committed to attacks in reduced visibility.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It works well to spray a primer, then the metallic and burnt shades, and finally to pick the mouths out with a dark wash and pigments.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and any other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
