This resin detail set in 1:32 scale represents the K-36L ejection seat intended for a model of the Sukhoi Su-25 attack aircraft. It replaces the simpler seat from the kit with a faithfully cast part. This is not an airplane model but an accessory for the pilot's compartment.
The K-36 is a family of Soviet and Russian ejection seats designed by NPP Zvezda and used on a number of combat aircraft. The K-36L variant is adapted for the subsonic Su-25 Frogfoot attack aircraft, which was designed for the direct support of ground troops and carries heavy cockpit armor.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways when sanding. Lay down a primer before painting, spray the seat with an airbrush and pick out the harness and the details with a brush and a wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin accessory. Glue, paints and the airplane model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
