A full-color instrument panel with a three-dimensional relief for a model of the aircraft F-16CJ Fighting Falcon Block 50 in 1:32 scale, with the screens rendered in the switched-on state.
Responsibility details are not available.
The instrument panel is the first thing a visitor to a display case looks for in a cockpit, and at the same time the place where the plastic part from a kit usually is not enough. This element carries the whole panel created in color, with a three-dimensional relief, so the instruments and the controls are not merely drawn on a surface. The screens are, according to the name, rendered as switched on, that is with an image drawn, not as dark empty areas. The element is stuck onto the plastic part in the kit and replaces painting it and picking out the individual dials by hand.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-seat multirole fighter aircraft with a bubble cockpit canopy, which gives the pilot a very good view all around. That is precisely why the interior is seen more on a model of this type than with other machines and it pays off to work it up carefully. The designation Block 50 points to one of the later production guises, to which a different form of the cockpit belongs than with the older series.
Check the method of application in the instructions, as it differs between the individual lines. Clean and degrease the plastic part in the kit before gluing, seat the element with tweezers and press it on with a soft stick, so that it adheres in the recesses as well. The exact procedure and the extent of the set are stated in the manufacturer's instructions.
A set of elements for a cockpit is supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
