The set combines the cockpit and the wheel bay for the Me 262A Schwalbe jet aircraft and serves to raise the detail of a plastic kit. This is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the cockpit tub as well as the landing gear compartment with faithfully worked parts: the instrument panel, the seat, the control stick and the structure of the bays. The package is usually complemented by fine photo-etched components.
The Messerschmitt Me 262, nicknamed the Schwalbe, was a German twin-engined jet aircraft deployed at the close of the Second World War. The A line was the basic form. It was one of the first jet aircraft used in combat, with a characteristic swept wing and nose landing gear.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before closing the fuselage, check the fit of the cockpit and the bays with the particular kit. Bring out the details with a base color, a dark wash and a dry brush.
