This set of three-dimensional decals from Red Fox Studio brings instrument panels and interior panels that are plastic in relief and already in color, and that are stuck directly onto the parts of a plastic kit. It is not a model of the aircraft, but an accessory that takes the place of painting small instruments by hand. According to the name the set also holds features connected with the unguided R4M rockets and with the bomb release selector, that is, with equipment specific to the individual variants. Because the manufacturer also makes a variant of this subject in the same scale for another kit, we state it explicitly: this set is cut for the Revell kit.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 was a German single-seat jet-powered combat aircraft used at the end of the Second World War. The A-1 version was a fighter, the A-2 a fighter-bomber able to carry bombs under the nose. The armament of some machines also included unguided R4M air-to-air rockets hung on wooden rails under the wings. The cockpit was densely fitted by the standards of the day and in 1:32 scale it is very clearly visible under an open canopy.
Degrease the base, spray the cockpit parts with the base interior color and let them cure fully. Move the pieces with sharp tweezers and seat them at the first attempt. Check in advance, dry, how the individual parts sit. The procedure for three-dimensional decals differs from that for classic wet decals, so keep to the instructions in the package. Before closing the fuselage up, work out what will be visible and finish the interior, including the wash and the matte varnish, beforehand.
The package holds only decals. The kit, paints and glue are not part of it.
