Eduard MiG-29A masks 1:32 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the Soviet MiG-29A fighter. It gives crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:32 scale is intended for a plastic model of the Soviet Mikoyan MiG-29 fighter in the A version. It is neither a kit nor a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without tediously cutting tape by hand.
The Mikoyan MiG-29 is a Soviet twin-engined supersonic fourth-generation fighter intended for air combat at short and medium range. It entered service in the 1980s, was notable for excellent agility and for a wide, splayed fuselage with two engines. It spread to the Soviet Air Force and to a number of others and became one of the best-known fighters of its era.
Degrease the glazing of the bubble canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them on the frame of the windscreen and the sliding section, pressing them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the disc. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a shallow angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
