A detail set, not an aircraft model. It is a resin cockpit set for a model of the Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 fighter in 1:32 scale. The set replaces the cockpit from the box with a faithfully cast tub, instrument panel, side consoles and seat. Intended for experienced modelers.
In the large 1:32 scale the cockpit is one of the most visible parts of a model. The resin castings carry the crisp relief of instruments, levers and switches that injection-molded plastic cannot manage. Photo-etched parts and a film with dial faces for building a realistic instrument panel are usually included. The result is a deep and convincing cockpit under an open canopy.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
