Roden 1:32 Nieuport 27 C.1 is a plastic kit of a French single-seat fighter of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Nieuport 27 C.1 fighter in 1:32 scale from Roden. The kit offers a finely done surface, a well rendered engine bay and cockpit, and is intended for builders who like period aircraft with wires and fabric covering. Once assembled and painted it yields a detailed model of a First World War aircraft.
The Nieuport 27 was the last of the family of light French single-seat fighters with the sesquiplane layout, that is with a markedly smaller lower wing. It followed on from the successful Nieuport 17 and 24 types and was powered by a rotary engine. The machines served with French and Allied squadrons and were popular for their agility.
On a biplane, pay attention to the exact seating of the struts and the tensioning of the bracing wires, which give the model its realism. Glue with liquid cement for plastic, use a primer under the paint and apply it with an airbrush. The fabric surfaces stand out with gentle accentuation of the ribs and discreet weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
