The GasPatch Models 1:32 Oberursel U.0 is a 3D-printed resin rotary engine for builders of models of early aircraft of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit of an aircraft but a separate, highly detailed resin engine in 1:32 intended for experienced modelers. The Oberursel U.0 is a German rotary engine from the early phase of the First World War; a faithfully cast engine is the key to a realistic rendering of the exposed front end of period monoplanes and biplanes. The set is printed by 3D technology in resin with fine definition of the cylinders and the details. The manufacturer is the Greek brand GasPatch Models.
The Oberursel U.0 was a German rotary aircraft engine which in the early era of aviation was based on the French Gnome designs. A rotary engine turned together with the propeller around a fixed crankshaft – the typical solution that determined both the shape and the behavior of the first combat aircraft. The powerplant belongs to the heart of every faithful model from this period.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts and carefully separate them from the thin print supports. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The engine comes out with a combination of metallic shades, a light overbrush and a wash that accents the mechanical details. Do the sanding of resin with respiratory protection.
The engine is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin kit. The glue, the paints and the base model of the aircraft are not included in the package.
