It holds a faithfully cast cockpit tub, an instrument panel, a seat and the controls, which replace the simplified kit parts. It is not a standalone airplane model but a detail accessory for one.
The Republic P-47D Thunderbolt was an American fighter of the Second World War powered by a powerful radial engine. It was marked by a rugged structure, heavy firepower and the ability to survive a hit, and it proved itself both as a fighter and as a strike aircraft against ground targets.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer undercoat on the cockpit is advisable, then paint it with shading and a dry brush and bring the instrument panel to life by picking out the details. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
