Eduard 1:32 painting masks for the P-51B Mustang for the cabin glazing and the wheels. This is not a model but a painting accessory; the model itself is obtained separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of shaped Eduard painting masks in 1:32 scale for the model of the American North American P-51B Mustang fighter. The masks are cut from kabuki tape and mask the frames of the cabin glazing and usually the tires as well. It is a painting accessory, not a kit; the aircraft model itself is not included and is obtained separately.
The North American P-51 Mustang was an American fighter of the Second World War which, in the form with the Merlin engine, became one of the finest escort fighters. The early B versions still had a framed canopy with fixed glazing behind the pilot, before the celebrated version with the bubble canopy arrived. The Mustang escorted bomber formations deep over enemy territory.
Transfer the masks onto degreased glazing and press them carefully into the frames of the framed canopy. Spray the paint thinned in fine coats so that no heavy edge builds up. Peel the masks off while the finish is fresh; kabuki tape conforms well to the shape of the canopy.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
