This is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The set contains precisely cast resin barrels of the onboard cannon for models of the Tornado in the IDS, ECR and GR.1 versions. It replaces the plastic parts, which tend to be thicker and less faithful, and gives a sharp, concentric muzzle opening.
The Panavia Tornado was a European multirole combat aircraft with variable-sweep wings, developed jointly by Germany, Great Britain and Italy. The IDS and GR.1 versions were strike aircraft, while the ECR served to suppress enemy air defenses. The aircraft carried a built-in 27 mm Mauser BK-27 cannon.
Separate the barrel from the casting block with a sharp saw and sand the face down. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Bring the metal look out with graphite sheen or a metallic shade, blacken the muzzle carefully and pick it out with a dark wash for the impression of scorching.
This is an accessory for plastic models. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
