Four self-adhesive masks for spraying British Type A roundels in 1:32 size. The set is not tied to a particular kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Type A marking is the oldest and most comprehensible round mark of the Royal Air Force: a red disc in the middle, around it a white ring and a blue ring around the circumference. In this form it was carried on the lower surfaces of the wings and on the sides of the fuselage where there was no need to limit visibility. The widths of the individual bands were prescribed as a fraction of the overall diameter, so the mark could be drawn out at any size and still always look the same. That is precisely why this set is usable across types and is not tied to a single machine or to one maker of kits.
Four cut films for spraying round insignia, 1:32 size. The package does not contain paint materials or plastic components and does not relate to a single kit; it will serve for any British aircraft of matching dimensions, or as a replacement for a damaged sheet of decals.
A multi-color insignia is sprayed shade by shade and between them only the part that is next in turn is uncovered. First comes white over the whole area of the circle, once dry the central disc is lifted off and the red is sprayed, and finally the outer ring is uncovered for the blue. A light base under the colored bands ensures depth of color even with a thin layer. Lay the lifted pieces aside on a sheet in the order in which they came off; you need to put them back exactly where you took them from.
