The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX was a British single-seat fighter of the Second World War with the potent Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine. It was one of the most successful versions of the Spitfire and was flown by Allied squadrons on many battlefronts.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection when sanding. The mouths of the oval exhausts can be drilled out carefully for a more faithful look. The surface is usually painted with an airbrush and the detail picked out with a fine wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model of an airplane. The base kit, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
