A set of shaped masks for a model of the Spitfire Mk.V in 1:32 scale, in the form for the outer and the inner side of the glazing.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V is the most widespread version of the famous British fighter aircraft. It appeared in service in 1941 and was used right up to the end of the Second World War, among other things in the adaptation for operation in a hot and dusty environment. In 1:32 scale a model comes out big enough for every inaccurately drawn transition of paint on the framing of the cabin to be noticed on it.
Shaped masking elements for the Spitfire Mk.V in 1:32 scale. The qualifier in the name says that the set reckons with the outer and the inner side of the glazing, so even the framing visible through the transparent part can be sprayed. Which kit the set is prepared for and what exactly it covers is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Masking is done before spraying, onto a clean and degreased part. Fingerprints make both paint and masks hold worse, so take the transparent parts through a cloth or by the edges.
For a modeler who wants the framing of the cabin sharp from both sides and does not want to spend the evening cutting tape. The package contains a masking set; a kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
