Spitfire Mk.V Rotol propeller 1:32 (Quickboost) is a resin detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The precisely cast three-blade Rotol propeller replaces the plastic part on a kit of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V fighter in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an aftermarket accessory in cast resin from Quickboost, a brand made by the Czech company Aires. It is not a kit but a precisely cast Rotol propeller intended to be swapped for the plastic part of the base kit of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V fighter in 1:32 scale.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V was one of the most widespread versions of this legendary British fighter. Many of the machines were powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine with a Rotol propeller. The exact shape of the blades and of the propeller hub matters for the overall look of a model.
First wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut them carefully off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. The propeller blades tend to be thin, so handle them with care.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin castings. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
