The Spitfire Mk.Vb propeller with a tool in 1:32 scale is a resin replacement propeller from Quickboost for a model of this British fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from the Quickboost brand brings a precisely cast propeller for a model of the British Supermarine Spitfire fighter in the Mk.Vb version in 1:32 scale, including an auxiliary tool for assembling and setting the blades correctly. It is not a kit but a replacement part that replaces the propeller from the box with a truer casting with the correct blade profile and shape.
The propeller is the visually dominant feature of the nose of a model. The Spitfire Mk.Vb was one of the most widespread versions of this legendary fighter, powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. Precisely cast blades with the correct profile and angle look more realistic than the parts from the box; the tool supplied makes it easy to set them identically, so that the propeller sits symmetrically and true.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap to deal with mold release residue. Cut off the casting blocks carefully with a saw and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Seat the blades in the hub using the tool supplied and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The leading edges and the blade tips were often marked differently: pick them out when painting.
The accessory is supplied as a resin replacement part, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
