A resin accessory from the Quickboost (Aires) brand in 1:32 scale with ejection seats that have the seat belts cast right in. It is meant for the two-seat Su-27UB training version. It is not an airplane model but a replacement set that raises the detail of the cockpit, and the need to finish the belts from etched metal falls away.
The Su-27, under the NATO reporting name Flanker, is a heavy twin-engine fighter with a fuselage that is elegant and massive at once. The Su-27UB version is a two-seat combat trainer with the cockpits arranged one behind the other. The ejection seat is a key feature of the interior, and a faithful rendering of it markedly raises the impression of an open cockpit.
Separate the seats from the casting block, clean them up and glue them with super glue. The cast belts come into their own once they are picked out in their own shade and the buckles are gone over lightly with a dry brush.
The model of the airplane itself is not included in the package. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included.
