This is a resin detail set from Aires in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory that replaces and refines the landing gear bays of the plastic kit of the T-28 Trojan. Resin makes it possible to render the stiffeners, runs and structures inside the bays finely, where injection-molded plastic usually gives them in simplified form.
The North American T-28 Trojan is an American piston-engine trainer with a radial engine, which served with the US Air Force and the US Navy alike and in derived versions in a light combat role as well. Detailed landing gear bays come out above all on models with the gear down on a diorama.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with super glue. Paint the bays before the wings or the fuselage are closed up and assembled, and add a wash to bring out the structure and light wear. Protect your airways while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is intended to complete a plastic kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
