This is a resin detail set, not a kit of a whole aircraft. It renders the fuel and oil tanks placed in the forward fuselage between the engine and the pilot's cockpit of the Hawker Tempest Mk.V fighter in 1:32 scale, including the associated pipework, the bulkhead and a new skin panel. It makes it possible to open this area up to view and show the internal arrangement of the airframe.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.V was a British fighter of the closing stage of the Second World War, developed from the Typhoon. It stood out for its high speed at lower altitudes and became known for its success against V-1 flying bombs as well as for attacks on ground targets.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash them free of mold release agent and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray the tanks and pipework in metallic and technical shades and accentuate the whole with a wash and light grime. Check the fit of the parts dry before closing the area up.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
