The Eduard TORA TORA TORA! decal sheet in 1:32 scale. It is a standalone set of waterslide decals for aircraft models, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a model or a kit but a standalone sheet of waterslide decals in 1:32 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It serves to give a model that is already built or part-built a particular set of markings, without being limited to the decals from the box. The name of the sheet refers to a period operational code phrase that later also became the title of a well-known film, so it is not a doubled word or an error in the name.
Eduard prints decals with crisp edges and a thin carrier film, so that once dry and coated over they blend practically into the surface. The large 1:32 scale places higher demands on decals than smaller scales, because every inaccuracy shows. Before buying, please check that the sheet matches the model you are building.
Decals are applied exclusively onto a smooth gloss surface. Spray a gloss coat over the finished paintwork, therefore, let it cure and only then apply the decals. Cut them out as close as possible, dip them in lukewarm water for a few seconds and leave them to rest on a paper towel until the carrier film comes free. Slide them into place with a brush, draw off the surplus water with a towel and press them down. On busy surfaces, rivets and engraved lines a decal softener will help, as it draws the decal down into the relief. Finally seal everything with a matte or semi-matte coat according to the character of the model.
This is a standalone decal sheet. The model, paints and clear coats are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
