This is a resin accessory set in 1:32 scale from Brengun. The package holds a pair of American 110 gallon drop tanks. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory with which you replace or complete the underwing equipment of a kit.
Drop tanks extended the range of American fighters during the Second World War and in the postwar period; once the fuel was used up they were jettisoned. The cast resin form offers a clean shape with no parting line down the middle and a fine surface, which shows to better effect on underwing tanks than a split injection molded part.
Wash the parts free of release agent residue first, carefully cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces with your airways protected. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting we recommend a primer, which unifies the surface and brings out any flaws still to be sanded.
A resin accessory set. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
