A well cast figure with finely worked out details of the clothing and the features will serve to bring aviation dioramas to life and as a collector's piece in its own right. Intended for more experienced modelers used to working with resin.
The motif of a pin-up girl points to the period aesthetic of the 1940s, when displays like this adorned the noses of combat aircraft and the crews' quarters alike. The figure goes together splendidly with aircraft models and scenes of air bases from the period of the Second World War.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts and cut the casting blocks off, and sand the fine seams down with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; devote increased care to the face and the skin with graded shades, shadows and highlights.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
