A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the exhaust stacks of the British twin-engine de Havilland Mosquito multirole aircraft in 1:48 scale. It refines one of the most conspicuous features of the engine nacelles with their V12 engines without any laborious rework of the plastic parts. The part is intended for modelers who want to lift the look of the machine quickly and faithfully.
On a V12 engine the exhaust stacks are among the most exposed details and how they are rendered strongly shapes the overall impression. The castings capture the hollow outlets and the fine shape of the pipes, which are hard to create from solid plastic. Once painted in metal and rusty shades and lightly weathered, they visually deepen the engine nacelles and give the wooden bomber scale credibility.
