This set from the BRASSIN range is a resin detail accessory, not an aircraft model. It contains accurately cast Vickers Mk.I aircraft machine guns in 1:32 scale and is usually completed with photo-etched parts for the finest details, such as the perforated barrel jackets. It serves to render faithfully the armament of Allied fighters of the First World War.
The Vickers was a British fixed synchronized aircraft machine gun used on Allied fighters of the First World War. It fired through the propeller disc and formed the basic armament of a whole range of machines of the period.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent and carefully separate them from the casting blocks. Bond both the resin and the photo-etch with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The guns look best with a dark metallic base and a light dry brush to bring out the structure of the barrel jacket.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
