Printed wheel chocks for under the wheels of Royal Navy aircraft of the Second World War and the postwar years, in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Wheel chocks belong to a parked aircraft as naturally as a towbar or FOD covers. On the deck of an aircraft carrier their role is even more important than on firm ground: the deck heaves, tilts and is slippery, and the chocks under the wheels are the only thing holding the machine in place. This set is based on the chocks used by Royal Navy aviation during the Second World War and in the postwar period.
The package brings a set of wheel chocks in 1:32 scale, produced by three-dimensional printing. On an object this small, printing manages sharp edges, picked-out surfaces and thin eyes for cords and handles, that is details that are otherwise hard to make.
The set suits any large model of a carrier aircraft that is to stand on a diorama or on a display base. It will also serve well to fill out a deck scene where the chocks lie ready to one side.
The chocks themselves are supplied as described. The aircraft model, a display base, the paints and the glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
