A decal set from the Kelik brand intended for the interior of a model of the Bell AH-1G Cobra attack helicopter in 1:35 scale. The name gives the 3D form, that is relief decals for fitting out the cockpit. It is not a model and not resin parts, but an accessory that gives the instrument panels and the inner surfaces a colored, legible look without laboriously painting the small details with a brush.
The AH-1G Huey Cobra was the first production helicopter designed purely as an attack machine. It was built on the proven powerplant and rotor of the Huey family, but it got a narrow fuselage with the crew in tandem, the gunner seated in front and the pilot higher up behind him. In Vietnam it escorted transport helicopters and destroyed targets in the landing area, armed with a trainable nose turret and with weapons on its stub wings. It is precisely the tandem cockpit with its mass of instruments and controls that is clearly visible on a model in 1:35 scale, so it is worth investing time in it.
First spray the interior surfaces with the base shade and let it dry properly; on a rough or greasy base the accessory will not bed down. Work with tweezers and proceed one element at a time, without hurrying and keeping to the manufacturer's instructions. Once the interior is finished, check that nothing projects into the glued seam of the fuselage, and only then close the cockpit.
