A figure of a Luftwaffe pilot in 1:32 scale, the fifth number of the line. It is supplied unpainted, for rounding out an aircraft model or a scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
The figure captures a Luftwaffe pilot and carries the sequence number 5 in the line. The flying gear of that time has several features worth attention when painting: a flight suit or a cloth tunic, a leather flying helmet with earphones, goggles pulled up on the forehead and an inflatable life vest across the chest. It is exactly the vest and the harness that break up the uniform area of the clothing and give a figure surprisingly many color tones in a small space.
It comes out best beside an aircraft model of the 1:32 scale, where it gives away the real size of the machine to the viewer at once. It comes into its own well on a wing, by a step or in a small scene on an airfield surface too. An adult man comes out in this scale at roughly five and a half centimeters, so there is room to work out the face, the hands and the small items of gear.
The figure is supplied unpainted and ready to be built. The paints, glue and base are not included, unless stated otherwise.
